Biography

Sachin Gupta has obtained his undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur in 2009. He started pursuing  his Master’s degree with Dr. Arun Shukla at University of Rhode Island, where he defending his master’s thesis “Effect of Temperature on the Dynamic Fracture and Shock Performance of Graded Materials.” soon after, he joined Doctoral program at URI. Currently, he is researching the topic “Experimental Investigation on the Implosion of a Tube within a Tube”.
