OMR Grading
ITS offers Optical Mark Reader (OMR) grading services using an OpScan 8 scanner with Remark OMR Classic Grading Software. This service allows faculty to efficiently process bubble sheet responses, generate reports, and obtain grading insights for assessments.

Features
- Free Service – No purchase orders required.
- Automated Grading – Uses built-in software for processing.
- Comprehensive Reports – Includes class rosters, histograms, item analysis, and individualized reports.
- Custom Grading Options – Supports multiple answer keys, weighted questions, and multiple sections.
- Secure Handling – Jobs must be signed in/out, and ID is required for pickup.
Access
- Blank Forms & Drop-off/Pickup: Located at the ITS Service Desk in the Library basement.
- Submission Process: Follow the OMR Data Processing Instructions for submitting jobs.
- Turnaround Time: Up to 48 hours for processing.
Support & Training
- Brightspace Integration – Some CSV file modifications may be needed for grade uploads.
- Guidance Available – Instructions and request forms are available at the ITS Service Desk.
- Ongoing Improvements – Based on user feedback, the process will continue to be refined.
