Research HPC/Andromeda

The University of Rhode Island provides High-Performance Computing (HPC) resources to support research initiatives that require large-scale computation, data analysis, and modeling. Managed by the ITS Research Computing team, URI’s HPC infrastructure offers advanced computing power for existing research groups and new users through Andromeda.
The ITS Data Center provides a secure and reliable environment for hosting these services, with centralized cooling, security, fire suppression, and generator backup to ensure uninterrupted operation.
