Biography

Lauren Creamer was born and raised in Narragansett, RI and is a proud URI alumna. She earned bachelor’s degrees from URI in Environmental Science & Management and Biology. While at URI she was heavily involved on campus as President of the Women’s Rugby Team and as an RA in Wiley Hall, and was the recipient of the 2011 Rainville Outstanding Student Leadership award. She studied College Student Development and Counseling at Northeastern University, where she earned her M.S.

Lauren has fifteen years of experience in higher education including career services, leadership development, student conduct, and residence life. She has worked with engineers for the last decade and believes there is nothing better than hearing from a student that they landed their dream job. Her work at URI involves supporting engineering students in their career development and supporting employers with recruitment of engineering talent. 

Students can make appointments with Lauren via Starfish or visit her on Wednesday afternoons in her office for drop-in hours from 1:00-4:00 pm.
