Presidential Early Career Awards for Scientists and Engineers
The Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE) Award is the highest honor bestowed by the U.S. government on outstanding scientists and engineers beginning their independent careers. The awards are conferred annually at the White House following recommendations from participating agencies.
The Office of Naval Research Young Investigator Program supports scientists and engineers who are in their first or second full-time academic appointment, and who show exceptional promise for doing creative research.
