Our first cohort of ESTEEMED marked a significant milestone in their academic journey by attending their first scientific conference.

Held at Harvard Medical School, the New England Science Symposium provides a prestigious platform for budding undergraduate, graduate, and postdoctoral researchers to showcase their innovative projects and engage with esteemed professionals in the field.

The event, which took place on March 23, 2024, provided a chance for our trainees to network and learn about new research from other students, fostering meaningful connections within the scientific community. The experience proved to be enriching, offering invaluable exposure to the rigors and rewards of academic collaboration and exploration.

URI ESTEEMED takes pride in nurturing the next generation of scientific leaders, and the participation of these trainees at the New England Science Symposium reflects the program’s commitment to excellence in education and mentorship.
