Sophomore trainees Lisa Agyemang, Liza Agyemang, and Shaily Quiroa Gamez presented their research at the Annual Biomedical Research Conference of Minoritized Scientists (ABRCMS) in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, last week. They were selected from thousands of applicants to present their research in a poster session with other undergraduate researchers. All three trainees presented the research they completed in the SURF program at URI in summer 2024. We are so proud of them and look forward to what they do next!
