Biography

Hamzeh is a junior pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He was raised in Cranston, Rhode Island, and became interested in pursuing engineering because of his love for STEM, rooted in one of his favorite childhood shows, How It’s Made. He attended Cranston High School West, where he was involved in Academic Decathlon, track and field, and numerous other clubs and extracurriculars. Upon graduation, he hopes to pursue a hands-on occupation in the field of things such robotics, cars, or aerospace. Hamzeh has been working in the lab of Dr. Yang Lin since his sophomore year. In his free time, Hamzeh enjoys bodybuilding and powerlifting, hanging out with and talking to family and friends, playing video games, exploring new things, and traveling.
