Biography

Alexandra Gauss joined the University of Rhode Island’s Web Communications team in 2022. As a web developer, she helps expand the capabilities of the web team with a combination of technical skills, an eye for design, and a particular knowledge of accessibility standards.

Before coming to URI, Alexandra was the Assistant Systems and Web Applications Librarian at Simmons University’s Beatley Library. She also has a background in copywriting and web content strategy. She holds a B.A. in English from Pace University, a M.F.A. in Literary Arts from Brown University, and a M.S. in Library & Information Science from Simmons University.
