Sarah Pucino

Sarah joined the Web Communications team in 2023. As a frontend designer, she develops engaging and interactive designs for the web that support storytelling, marketing, and other digital initiatives and plays an integral part in evolving the design language of the website as a whole. A designer who codes, she is inspired by the relationship between digital design, functionality, and user experience. Holistic design is a cornerstone of her process as she seeks to create cohesion within brand guidelines.

Before coming to URI, Sarah was an independent UX/digital designer and web developer since her departure from KVH Industries in 2022. At KVH, she was a senior designer and web developer with prior experience in marketing, web strategy, and print design.

Outside of the department, Sarah is a freelance designer and an amateur potter. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Graphic Communications with a minor in Studio Art from Rhode Island College.
