The US Foreign Service Internship Program is a two-summer merit and needs-based (paid!) opportunity that exposes undergraduate US students to US diplomacy and the work of the Department of State.
This is an opportunity to intern with the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) if one is studying one or more of the following: architecture, infrastructure, facilities management, engineering, aeronautics, human resources, media, journalism, Russian, Ukrainian, Arabic, or is able to conduct research and analysis. Students must also be at least twenty-one years old and must reside in one of the member countries of NATO as well as be fluent in either English or French, with studies in both being a bonus.
