Southside Community Land Trust invites visitors to tour Providence’s longest-operating urban production and demonstration farm, City Farm. Farmers, gardeners, and enthusiasts will visit the farm in late March as the land is readied for the upcoming growing season. Join Rich Pederson, Steward of City Farm for more than 22 years, to learn about soil health, care, and regenerative practices. You’ll take home valuable information and techniques to improve the health of your soil, and you can easily replicate these techniques in your own backyard with commonly- and locally-available materials. All levels of experience and interest are welcomed!
