Visiting Scholar Program

Hosting a Fulbright Visiting Scholar or Fulbright Language Teaching Assistant is a rewarding experience personally and professionally for faculty.

Participating in the program contributes to internationalization of your department and the URI campus. It also establishes and strengthens connections with scholars and scholarly institutions abroad, expanding opportunities for students, faculty, and researchers.

You may host a Fulbright Visiting Scholar for a 2-5 day visit through the Outreach Lecturing Fund or for either a semester or academic year through the Scholar-in-Residence Program. Be sure to contact the Fulbright Scholar Liaisions below if interested in hosting programs.
