Research : Hydro-climatological Trends of Major River Systems in Rhode Island

Bio: Marike obtained her bachelor’s degree in ocean engineering from the University of Rhode Island in May 2023. Starting Fall 2023, Marike is a MS student in the Geosciences department of URI, specializing in Rhode Island river systems. Her thesis examines the hydrological and climatological trends of three major rivers in Rhode Island. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, fishing, and hiking.
