The URI Cyber-Seniors program is a unique opportunity to serve the community, work with Rhode Island’s aging population and enhance the skills that employers are seeking in graduates today, including:

The flexible nature of the program enables students to meet the requirements and demands of multiple departments, majors, and programs. Students are able to receive credit for participating through coursework, internship hours, independent study credits, and experiential education hours.

What does it mean to be a student mentor?

Student mentors provide an important service to the greater Rhode Island community by assisting older adults through one-on-one appointments, webinars, small group meetings and drop-in session calls.
