The Institute for Immunology and Informatics (iCubed) was established in 2008 as part of the URI’s Biotechnology program. iCubed occupies office and laboratory space in the College of Pharmacy’s Avedisian Hall.
iCubed’s mission is to improve human and animal health by applying the power of technology and informatics to advance the development of better vaccines, diagnostics, and therapeutics.
iCubed scientists bring expertise in basic and translational research, collaboration, and mentoring to the challenge of global infectious diseases. We also seek to train and inspire the next generation of scientists, including engaging and supporting individuals from under-represented populations.
