Overview
Physical therapy following surgery is common. We believe that rehabilitation is beneficial and necessary for post-joint replacement recovery. However, in certain instances these rehabilitation approaches remain unvalidated. Accordingly, we are assessing via wearable motion sensors a novel at-home PT regimen and comparing the results to standard outpatient PT programs. When successful, this will allow development of easier to access and more cost effective post-joint replacement rehabilitation plans.
