Dr. Crowe (PI, Xavier University) and Dr. Mortreux (Co-I) research proposal has been selected by the NASA Human Research Program to study Sialylation in the skeletal muscles of animals exposed to simulated microgravity. This work will be done in males and females, and may help us develop new therapeutic strategies targeting Sialic Acid. Read more here

MHU-8 Mission Complete
The MHU-8 mission explored the effects of artificial gravity on the body. Mice launched aboard SpaceX27 and stayed on the International Space Station for a month, where they were exposed to different artificial gravity levels.
