PhD Candidate Carrie Gill, Assistant Professor of Marketing Stephen Atlas, and University of British Columbia Assistant Professor of Marketing and Behavioral Science David Hardisty conducted three studies to understand influences on reducing household energy consumption. The studies addressed how past behaviors and temporal framing affected household energy decisions. This summer the results are being presented to Association of Environmental and Resource Economists, the Agricultural and Applied Economics Association, and the International Conference on Thinking.
