We had such a great time, learned so much, and so enjoyed connecting with our team and the larger causal inference research community at ACIC! After the conference, Dr. Buchanan, Dr. Katenka, Ke, and Claire headed out into Utah for a day of teambuilding–strengthening our “ties!” First we went on a fun little nature walk where we found this nice stream. Then we headed to Park City for some delicious lunch and shopping. Finally we visited Antelope Island on the beautiful Great Salt Lake itself, where we found some Antelopes and Bison! This trip was so fun and refreshing, and we returned home with stronger team morale and connection, ready for some more research activities!

Bonus joke: What did the mom buffalo say to the baby buffalo when he left home to go study Statistics and Health Outcomes at URI? … Bison!
