Statistics Education

Statistics is a branch of applied mathematics focused on collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting large quantities of numerical data. Statistics education is important because it allows researchers to organize and interpret information, identify patterns, understand trends, and find evidence to add credibility to research findings. It empowers researchers to uncover the truth and make sense of complex data, so that we may draw meaningful conclusions from it. We use statistical methods of causal inference to assess interventions in networks of populations at increased risk of HIV.
