Dalton has been selected as an outstanding member of the University community to receive a Research and Scholarship Excellence Award in Life Sciences, Physical Sciences, and Engineering from the University of Rhode Island. The President of the University, the Division of Research and Economic Development, and the URI Associate Deans of Research Advisory Committee joined with Dalton’s colleagues and peers in honoring his dedication and commitment to the University of Rhode Island. The awards ceremony was held on April 4, 2026.
