State Approved Training Program in Drug Administration

Interested in URI’s MedTech Training Program?

COST: $750 (includes textbook) this cost has been waived thanks to a grant received through the RI DLT Real Jobs Program.  

This non-credit certificate program is NOT eligible for Federal Financial Aid, VA Benefits, or tuition waivers.

We host a class every Fall (early Sept – early December) and Spring (late January- early May).

Complete the  Inquiry form and your name will be added to our student list – First – Come, First – Served.  In the form, you can indicate which semester (Fall or Spring) time frame works best for you.

Our form REQUIRES your supervisor’s contact email and phone number. Make sure you have that information to enter into the designated fields.

Obtaining YOUR SUPERVISOR’S APPROVAL is necessary for class enrollment and to ensure that you will be given the opportunity at your state licensed facility to complete three observed medication passes. This is a mandatory requirement for obtaining your state license.

Once your name is submitted, you will be contacted via email regarding the next steps in the registration process.

*Class size is limited to a first-come-first-served basis and is maxed at 30.
*Class fees are normally waived due to a grant provided through the RI DLT Real Jobs Program.

Upon acceptance into the program, you will receive a brochure and registration form via email that you would need to complete in its entirety and email back to us.

  • Incomplete registration/permission slips will not be accepted. 
  • Non-US Citizens MUST have provided proof of legal residence at your current state licensed employment facility.
