Biography

Liza Patty is the Business Manager for Enrollment Management. Her responsibilities include, among others, assisting in financial, operational, and personnel matters pertaining to administration of Summer Sessions, Winter J Term, URI Online and the Office of Strategic Initiatives (OSI).

Prior to joining the University of Rhode Island, she served as a public school teacher in secondary education for thirteen years. In 2022 she began her career at URI in Enrollment Services working as a business analyst before taking on her current role as business manager in 2024. Liza earned both her BS in Biological Sciences and her MA in Education from the University of Rhode Island. She is proud to be a lifelong Rhode Island resident and honored to have the opportunity to work in such a diverse and dynamic community.
