Biography

Lori Herz is an accomplished learning and development leader with over two decades of experience in executive education, leadership development, and organizational change.  Lori also partners with faculty on grant-based initiatives and serves as an external evaluator on awarded projects. Currently serving as Assistant Director of External Initiatives at University of Rhode Island’s Office of Strategic Initiatives, she designs and delivers innovative programming for industry and governmental clients, driving professional growth and institutional impact. Lori prides herself on fostering stakeholder and sponsor engagement, promoting best practices, producing quality products and services, collaborating with partners, and being agile. Meeting customer needs and facilitating positive learning experiences is her top priority.

She is known for her strengths-based leadership, collaborative spirit, and passion for adult education. Lori holds a Masters degree in Adult Education and a Bachelors degree in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island, and she is certified in Extended DISC, Trust at Work®, and LEA 360.
