Biography

Marjorie F. Wittner is a labor arbitrator and Special Counsel to the Department of Labor Relations. She served as Chair of the Commonwealth Employment Relations Board from 2008-2024. Previously, she was Chief Counsel to the Massachusetts Labor Relations Commission and a field examiner with the National Labor Relations Board.  She is a past president of the Association of Labor Relations Agencies. In 2021, Marjorie received the Cushing-Gavin Award in recognition of her contributions to the Massachusetts labor relations community.  Marjorie holds degrees from Brandeis University, Cornell University, and NYU School of Law.
