Sierra Perez is the Assistant Director of Academic Programs in the Office of Strategic Initiatives at the University of Rhode Island. Originally from Seattle, Washington, Sierra brings energy and a strong commitment to educational access to her new home in Rhode Island.

With over seven years of experience in higher education, including enrollment management, student success advising, and graduate admissions, Sierra is a student-centered professional dedicated to building supportive structures that align with institutional goals and promote a sense of belonging for all learners. In her current role, she oversees all credit-bearing academic program enrollment within the Office of Strategic Initiatives. This includes programs such as Dual and Concurrent Enrollment for high school students, the Doctorate of Business Administration, the Pfizer MBA, and a range of innovative certificate offerings.
