Biography
Jennifer Belhumeur, MA, is a Specialist II at the University of Rhode Island’s Office of Strategic Initiatives. She collaborates with colleagues, faculty and consultants to evaluate professional development training programs and industry partnerships in higher education. She contributes to the evaluation of grants, assessing their impact and effectiveness in meeting educational and workforce development goals.
With extensive experience in program development, instructional design, and educational content creation, Jennifer also works to design and enhance learning experiences that align with workforce needs. She has played a key role in developing curricula, assessment strategies, and training materials to support diverse learners.
Jennifer has a longstanding career at URI, holding a Master’s degree in Adult Education and a Bachelor’s degree in Human Development and Family Studies. She previously worked in the College of Pharmacy’s Office of Workforce Development, where she contributed to the design and implementation of workforce training initiatives.
