Biography

With over a decade of experience driving strategic marketing initiatives and leading the creation, design, and implementation of high-touch, high-impact engagement, training, and educational programs, Stef has dedicated her career to creating moments of authentic and intentional connection, and helping individuals and organizations thrive in a dynamic world. 

In her role as Assistant Director at the University of Rhode Island’s Office of Strategic Initiatives, Stef channels her expertise into developing impactful learning experiences that meet the evolving needs of today’s workforce. She brings a human-centered approach to everything she does—connecting vision with value, and people with purpose—and is energized by building and strengthening academic and industry partnerships. Stef is especially passionate about building workforce development programs that empower individuals to find fulfillment in their career paths, and achieve economic mobility. 

Stef’s leadership is rooted in the belief that lifelong learning a commitment to curiosity can be transformational. A proud two-time graduate of the University of Rhode Island, Stef earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Science in Labor Relations and Human Resources. As a working, nontraditional student herself, Stef understands the challenges many learners face—and remains deeply committed to supporting their success, both in her role with the Office of Strategic Initiatives and in her work as an Adjunct Professor at URI, where she facilitates MBA 578: HR Development. 

Beyond her professional work, Stef serves RI’s workforce through her role as Director of Sponsorship on the board of the Rhode Island Society for Human Resource Management.
