Biography

Tom Carey has experience in teaching Legal Writing, General Practice, and Appellate
Advocacy. He is coauthor with Chief Justice Christopher Armstrong (Ret.) of the Lexis
Nexis Volume on Massachusetts Appellate Practice. Tom holds a JD degree from
Boston College Law School, an LLM from Harvard Law, and is admitted to the
Massachusetts Bar (1965), Massachusetts Federal District Court, the First Circuit, and
the United States Supreme Court. He was inducted into the Massachusetts Lawyers
Weekly Hall of Fame in 2024.
