What motivates you to be visible on campus?

I want to contribute to building a welcoming community that values diverse voices, perspective, and lived experiences. I developed and deliver a workshop on building a diverse mentor network for the Diversity and Inclusion Badge Program, I have run Male allyship workshops for the Society for Women in Marine Science Symposia, and I actively include content on decolonizing ecology and geosciences and environmental justice into my undergraduate (OCG106G) and graduate (BES550) courses.
