What motivates you to visible on campus?

As a queer faculty member, I am committed to being visible on campus to provide representation and support for LGBTQIA+ students. My goal is to show students that they are not alone and that there are members of the community in academia who share their identities and experiences. I actively engage with the queer community by hosting queer trivia in Providence twice a month, offering a space for education, connection, and celebration. Visibility is crucial for fostering inclusivity, creating safe spaces, and inspiring others to stand up for queer rights and representation on campus and beyond.
