What motivates you to be visible on campus?
Physics, like many STEM fields, has historically faced significant challenges with diversity and inclusion, often leaving underrepresented groups feeling marginalized or overlooked. As someone who understands the challenges of navigating “invisible” aspects of diversity, I recognize that visibility matters—especially in today’s climate—and I am committed to ensuring that students and colleagues feel seen, supported, and valued, regardless of their identity.
