What motivates you to be visible on campus?

As a former public school teacher and now a teacher educator, I know that one’s identity must be valued and respected in order for that person to learn, to be happy, to grow. Every person has a right to an education and to be treated with respect. I am a visible ally because URI must be a place where all people can learn and achieve their goals.
