What motivates you to be visible on campus?

I want to be part of a URI community where people who identify as LGBTQ and all intersecting identities feel supported, valued and celebrated for who they are. By being visible as an ally, I can demonstrate to students, staff and faculty my commitment to the LGBTQ community and my hope of someday achieving a world where equality exists for all and discrimination is not tolerated.
