What motivates you to be visible on campus?

I believe that we should ALL be respected for our differences and that true education can only be achieved by learning from those who are different than ourselves. I want to help educate students, staff and faculty about how to safely STAND up for others in order to achieve true equality for all – regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, ability, socioeconomic status, education, political ideologies, etc…

We all have multiple, intersecting identities and in order to truly come together as a community we must ALL provide support, respect everyone and truly celebrate diversity of all types.
