What motivates you to be visible on campus?
I have always been a strong advocate for LGBTQ+ rights and think that visibility is very important. I have created an association for postdocs at Harvard Medical School BIDMC and was chairing the Advocacy Committee that worked to advocate for minorities. I also participate in outreach efforts to promote diversity in STEM through diverse programs including 1 Million Women in STEM and Skype a Scientist.
