What motivates you to be visible on campus?

I take great pride in being a trans individual who is out and proud in professional spaces. I love getting to represent URI’s support and diversity to prospective students both in the office and on the road, as well as sharing my knowledge and experience of the LGBTQ community with URI faculty and staff.

I worked at the URI Gender & Sexuality Center as an undergraduate student which has provided me with exceptional experiences providing resources and support to LGBTQ peers, friends, and students. I am a Safe Zone Facilitator and am always willing to have a learning moment with someone. I welcome questions of any kind!
