What motivates you to be visible on campus?

As a cisgender faculty member, I am motivated to be a visible ally on campus because I believe in the importance of creating an inclusive and supportive environment for everyone, and I recognize that visibility matters; it signals to students and colleagues that they are seen, valued, and supported.

By being a nurse and an ally, I hope to foster an atmosphere where students feel comfortable expressing their identities and seeking support.
