On Monday, March 1, 2021, Peace Corps will celebrate its 60th anniversary! President John F. Kennedy signed the executive order establishing the Peace Corps on March 1, 1961.
Next week, Peace Corps recruiters will host more than 100 events virtually around the world to celebrate many aspects of the Peace Corps’ diverse legacy. Among those events, we are highlighting below a few events that we feel will be of particular interest to your Peace Corps Prep students. Please feel free to share these links widely with your students. You may even choose to host a virtual watch party as a group with your PC Prep students and then host a follow-up discussion at which you can relate the topic of the presentation to the coursework and experiences being undertaken by your PC Prep students.
