Biography

Kristin Re, Ed.D. is the Coordinator of Educator Pipelines, Preparation, and Certification at the Rhode Island Department of Education. Prior to working at RIDE, she taught English at the postsecondary and secondary levels where she was also a teacher-leaders, coach, and the 2019 District Teacher of the Year. She has led school teams through school change and curriculum implementation and now focuses efforts on educator preparation. Kristin believes that equitable education is the key to social mobility, and wants to play a role in creating systems and change that will support all students to grow and love learning.
