Biography

Tim Dove currently consults for CEEDAR: Collaboration for Effective Educator Development, Accountability, and Reform (Center) at the University of Florida. He is engaged with Utah, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. He also consults for Parent Ready publishing as a coordinator/editor of a series of sixth through twelfth grade books and contributes as an author. For the past 10 years he also was an educational consultant with CCSSO and assisted 18 states as a part of the AIPL, SCEE, NSCEE, NTEP and DLRT initiatives. Immediately prior to joining CCSSO in January of 2014, he worked with Battelle for Kids as a consultant in Hong Kong working with teachers on formative instructional practices and teacher evaluation. Tim retired from thirty-two years in the K-12 classroom in June 2013 and was also active as an adjunct professor at The Ohio State University working with teacher training and M.Ed. students in social studies education for twenty years. He is also published in the areas of teacher education, pedagogy, the use of technology and global education.
