Biography

Bobby Britto-Oliveira is the Assistant Director of the Multicultural Student Services Center at the University of Rhode Island. He began his college journey at URI through the Talent Development program, an experience that shaped both his academic path and his lifelong commitment to student support. His professional work has focused on helping students build meaningful connections to the university academically, socially, and personally. Having once needed the same kind of support he now provides, Bobby brings a deeply personal understanding to his role and is committed to paying it forward. His journey reflects a strong dedication to access, belonging, and student empowerment. As a mentor, he encourages students to make the most of their undergraduate experience and to never underestimate their worth, reminding them that they deserve to be at URI and to fully take advantage of the opportunities available to them.
