Biography

Alisha joined the University of Rhode Island in 2015 and has since held progressively senior leadership roles supporting business operations and financial management. Beginning as Business Manager for the Department of Housing and Residential Life, she led a reorganization of the Central Office, strengthening operational efficiency across core financial functions. In 2017, Alisha was promoted to Associate Director of Business Operations, where she assumed oversight of occupancy management, residential assignments, billing, and also led initiatives to enhance budgeting, reporting, and capital planning.

In 2020, Alisha expanded her portfolio to support the Division of Student Affairs, providing consolidated financial budgeting, forecasting, and reporting for multiple auxiliary operations.  By 2023, she led a team of six professional staff and briefly served as Interim Director of Housing.

In late 2023, Alisha joined the Vice President of Student Affairs leadership team as Chief Business Officer for the Division of Student Affairs, bringing more than 25 years of finance experience to the role.

Prior to joining the University, Alisha held management positions in banking finance, notably with Bank of America and Citizens Bank, where she developed expertise in financial planning, budgeting and forecasting, benchmarking, regulatory reporting, profitability analysis, and fiduciary control management.

Alisha holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Rhode Island, with a concentration in Finance.
