Cory Clark, Ph.D.

Biography

Dr. Clark graduated from West Virginia University with a doctorate in philosophy in counseling psychology following a master’s degree in counseling at the same institution. He received his BA from SUNY Buffalo in psychology and social sciences. His previous employer was The College of William and Mary, where he was a staff psychologist and the outreach coordinator for 7 years. Dr. Clark put himself through college working a wide variety of jobs including being a white water rafting guide in WV for 6 years. He feels fortunate to have spent the last 12 years working at the URI Counseling Center helping direct the center and run the training program. Dr. Clark is married with two children that are presently attending high school in the Chariho School District. The love of family, community, water (for sport and recreation), and helping people keeps him thriving and living the life he loves.
