Biography

Denise Gorenski is the Assistant Dean in the College of Pharmacy at the University of Rhode Island. Her journey is a powerful example of determination and growth. She began her career as a secretary and went on to earn both her bachelor’s and master’s degrees while working, ultimately earning four promotions along the way. Denise’s story reflects resilience, hard work, and a belief in continuous self-improvement. As a mentor, she is passionate about encouraging students to believe in themselves, reminding them “you got this,” while emphasizing the importance of strong time management and organizational skills to achieve their goals.
