Agenda: Arming campus police survey, campus clean up

Future Projects: campus clean up

Rode: Knott helped make the survey for arming campus police, basically very black and white to help gain the best feed back. Also the women in the card access office will help us sift through all the results. VP Dugan said we could use the master list serve to email the survey out to all students. So should we do random sample or use the list serve?

Committee: the survey looks good, short, to the point, which is good.

Hetland: why would you send it out to the whole student body?

Committee: go with the survey

Rode: Knott wants to do booths; we can spread it out to student groups spread the word get more results, get booths in Hope ask people to fill out the survey

Hetland: have that possibly count as an office hour? How long s the voting survey open for?

Rode: senate is not voting on it till December so until November 15th so we can vote on it the week after possibly. Also litter is an issue we need to do something CAMPUS CLEAN UP November 23 at 11 AM Saturday morning (rain day the 24th). Not the week before because students for sustainability groups have a conference and I want to invite them to help Areas we need to focus on? Ellery pond

Underwood: commuter parking lot, Keaney parking lot, dorms

Rode: when your walking around campus keep an eye for it. What are some things that you throw away? Coffee cups, water bottles. We can put this out to Uri 101 get people to help us out possibly

Consuegra: I’ve done a campus clean up before and we go more on the street side and clean up around there we met outside of Roosevelt. Maybe make groups out of this to help facilitate it better

Marasco: I used to do a costal clean up with fish and wild life conservation we’d use plastic gloves and big containers to put sharp objects in. we would also have data sheets to keep track of what we collected during the clean up. Maybe make this an annual thing?
Boutney: change the color of the trashcans so they stand out and don’t blend in

Hetland: get rid of the tops of the cans too cause if you throw something in it and miss you leave it there
cause your walking away

George: have more signs around reminding people to keep the campus clean help spread the word

Rode: I’m going to the presidents meeting on Monday to help spread the word about it also it’ll be on the
big TV’s in the union too.

Sit: Bike improvement campaign for all the bikers have bike racks if not sheltered bike racks. Also have better biking routes for people to going through a giant crowd of people isn’t convenient. Try and put some near the union and the library, as well as motorcyclists too they should have somewhere specifically for them
