DISCUSSION:  

TOPIC 1: 5 cent cigar interview about resolution for holiday pay/pay rate

• All state employees receive time and a half according to state law
• students do not receive time and a half on holidays and sundays
• resolution to pay students time and a half on sunday and holidays since students can’t unionize
• pay rate at URI is messed up and needs to be fixed as some people get capped at 11 and some get paid more
• cost of living in kingston is higher than average
• no overtime at uri

TOPIC 2: Safety lighting walk

• thursday october 17th five groups(30 people) ● create a blue light map?

TOPIC 3: shuttle complaints trail run/ parking forum

• open forum papers went fast
• most traffic is at/before 10 am
