• Tomorrow BASTA Vote!!
• Indigenous People’s Day
  • Met with George Gallion about meeting with the tribal leaders – get the ball rolling with that.
  • Reach out and chat in order to have support/general opinion of the bill before moving to the State Government.
  • George suggested going to the capital and holding a “Speak Out” event – garner media attention and publicity around the move.
    • Idea of testifying before the State Government to bring more awareness to a possible bill
    • Nellie Gorbea (Secretary of State for RI) meeting
      • Push back from Rhode Island-Italians caucus
    • POKE THE SYSTEM
    • Tackle multicultural organizations and the disconnect between Student Senate and these organizations
      • Plan a meeting with representatives from different multicultural organizations to meet with Cultural Committee in order to address this problem.
      • Could talk in Hodge Forum
        • Fliers for meeting – possible March 19^th, Tuesday, 2:00pm
          • Uncensored – GIVE US THE TEA
        • Cultural as a bridge between Student Senate and Multicultural organizations
        • Festival on the Quad
          • Difference between what culture is…
          • Music/Yoga/Diversity & Wellness event
          • Culture is EVERYONE TOGETHER
        • Possibly for the future take the money from Ace of Cakes and put it to the Festival on the Quad idea.
