Attendance: McGrath, Menard, Rumas, Nelson, Bhat, Bagley, Blanchflower, Degnan, Wood

Menard: I motion to add Kaylee Goyette to the Student Payroll Committee:

Multiple senators: Second

Motion Passes (9-0-0)

Student Payroll Committee will be meeting this Friday in MU 254 from 2-4 PM.

Nelson: 3 PM would work better.

Motioned to add Skylar Nelson to the student payroll committee.

Motion Passes (8-0-1)

Sen. Wood: When there are “severe weather conditions”, we should not have class. We should pass a resolution saying such.

Sen Menard: I will motion to add the petition to cancel classes on 1/31/2018 due to severe weather to the agenda.

Blanchflower: we need another member of the commencement speaker committee

Menard: I nominate Jay Rumas

Bhat: I want to talk to the international students office about how international students can learn about social security numbers and how to get them/ a substitute

General sentiment is that Route 138 walkway is treacherous.

Menard: You cannot take an exam over the weekend, and a homework assignment can’t be due after the last day of class.\

Rumas: The calendar committee has canceled classes of of the schedule for 2024 and is working on 2020 and 2022.
